Adobe Reader is used for viewing, printing, and annotating PDF documents. It allows users to comment on a document by using the PDF annotator complete with sticky notes, highlight text options, and a typewriter tool.
Users can now responses and fill out forms and directly save it as a PDF file. Adding an electronic signature is also available with this software as well as the ability of putting a watermark on the document. This software enables users to access the Adobe online services and convert PDF files to Microsoft Word documents and vice versa. The Adobe Reader XI requires 1.3 GHz processor, any Microsoft operating system (XP, Windows 7, Vista, and Windows 8) that has service pack 3 for 32bit computers and service pack 2 for 64bit computers, 256MB of RAM, 320MB available hard disk space, 1024x768 screen resolution, an Internet Explorer with versions 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11; Firefox, or Google Chrome.
Adobe Reader is also downloadable for the Mac OS and requires an Intel processor, 1GB of RAM, 350MB available hard disk space, 1024x768 screen resolution. The software comes with 31 languages.
