"Cheat Engine"

Cheat Engine, also known as CE, is an open source application used to cheat in computer games, as can be gleaned from its name, although its maker, Dark Byte, markets it as a memory scanner and hex editor, and even a debugger (some games actually use the Cheat Engine application unofficially to pinpoint bugs and other security exploits). Cheat Engine essentially works by scanning the values for specific fields and categories that the user inputs, and injecting the generated code into a computer application, usually a PC game, to achieve its desired results. Although used extensively by developers, the Cheat Engine is officially blacklisted for consumer use from the makers of these games, and sometimes CE is recompiled and reconfigured to avoid detection. It also allows the creation of stand-alone trainers or tools used to make games extremely easy for beginners, and such trainers can be used independently of Cheat Engine.

Cheat Engine is not only there to make games easy – with its design, Cheat Engine can also make games harder or more challenging, depending on the whims of the player. Among the things you can do with CE include infinite health, mana, ammunition, and so on, or flight, perfect aim, and the like.
